I would absolutely accept the ring if it was man made because it shouldn't matter to the person what kind of diamond it is or how it was made or what it was made of, if you loved the person as much as you say you do then it should not matter. So if it was me being proposed to I would happily accept it.

I stand by what I had said before. Social media sometimes has influences on what people think, but I for one am not one for following others. Man made things are forever a special memory that anyone should cherish.

  2. 926714485 As a guy, I don’t see why women wouldn’t like man-made diamonds just as much as the real thing. Maybe in a sense it might feel like a knock off to them, but I feel for most women it would be about the gesture. As a guy I can say I would buy a man-made diamond unless there were some underlining side effects such as they cause a rash or something along those lines.

  3. 922121514 - I would buy a man-made diamond engagement ring. If it is really a diamond it doesn’t matter to me if it is man-made. Whether or not the diamond is natural isn’t the point, the point is the importance I put into it when I commit to becoming engaged to my partner.

Yes, I would accept the engagement ring because to me it is about how much you love that person who is proposing not about how many karats the ring is or if it is a man-made diamond or not.

A man-made diamond is manufactured in a lab artificially, but it is still a real diamond as well as an earth mined diamond. A man-made diamond is much cheaper and easier to get than an earth mined one. They both represent the gift of love.

  5. 946365584 If I wanted a diamond I would definitely by a man made diamond. I have no need to have a rock that costs more than my house payment to show my status. I also personally believe maybe if people were to start socially accepting man made diamonds more, then the need for blood diamonds and the like would help to ease fighting in this world. I don't see where there would be anything to go against a man-made diamond.

I absolutely consider buying a man-made diamond. But the only reason i would ever consider it is if the love of my life desperately wanted one in order to live out some childhood fairy tale fantasy. But i don't see why anyone would have a problem with a man made diamond. people buy man-made pearls and have no problem. and personally i think it would be cooler that someone made it. Man-made diamonds are probably more rare than naturally occurring ones and they would have some added character. So yes i would absolutely consider buying a man-made diamond.
